Egmont Passage: The Facts Behind the Fiction(A History of Coastal Tampa Bay)

This documentary, a teacher/student production from Palmetto High School Television, tells the history of coastal Tampa Bay through characters in the young adult novel, Egmont Passage. Shot mostly on-location at sites such as Fort DeSoto and Egmont Key, viewers time-travel to the prehistoric era, and to many other periods of Florida history. Saber-tooth tigers, Spanish Conquistador’s, and Robert E. Lee await an unsuspecting audience as this adventure story uncovers Florida’s rich past.
